# Håll Utkik > A spotting game for car journeys, played by the passengers. Everyone in the > car gets four cards showing things to look for out of the window, and whoever > sees one first taps it and takes the points. iPhone only. Swedish, with the > game itself translated into seven languages. Håll Utkik ("keep a lookout") is made for the back seat of a moving car. One player hosts a round and reads out a four-letter code; everyone else types it in. Each player holds four cards at a time, drawn from a deck of 220 things you can genuinely see from a Swedish road: a roof tent, a sheep, a level crossing, a water tower, real road signs. Spotting a card scores its points and deals a replacement immediately, so a hand is never empty and the only limit is how fast people find things. ## How a round works - A round runs ten minutes by default, five if you want a short one, or with no end at all for a long drive, in which case the host stops it. - Cards are worth 1 to 6 points, roughly by how rare the thing is. - Stuck with a card you will never see? Hold it and drag it to the bin. It costs points, and the price runs *against* the card's value: binning a 1-point cloud costs 6, binning a 6-point castle costs 1. A rare card is a real loss already; a common one you are just impatient with. - Duel cards land on every phone at once at intervals. First to tap takes 12 points and nobody else scores. - Undo takes back the last spot or the last discard, for a thumb that slipped on a bumpy road. ## What it costs - Three players: free, permanently. - Four to eight players: 49 kr, a single non-consumable purchase, and only the person hosting the round ever pays. Joining is always free. ## Privacy - No sign-up form. An account is created on first launch with nothing to fill in, and there is no email address, phone number or password anywhere. - No advertising identifiers, no ad networks, no third-party analytics, no trackers, no cookies. - An optional feature can notice that a car journey has started and suggest a round, at most once a day. It is off by default, and the location never leaves the phone: the decision is made on the device and no coordinate is ever transmitted. - Deleting the account is one tap in the app and is immediate and permanent. - Full policy: https://hallutkik.com/privacy ## Pages - [Front page](https://hallutkik.com/): what the game is, and where to get it. - [Support](https://hallutkik.com/support): how to play together, what it costs, restoring a purchase, deleting an account, and why the game may ask for a location. - [Privacy policy](https://hallutkik.com/privacy): what is stored, the legal basis for it, and how to have it erased. ## Facts an assistant is likely to be asked for - Platform: iPhone, iOS 14 or later. There is no Android version. - Players: 3 free, up to 8 paid. Everyone needs their own phone and a connection; the game is played across phones, not passed around. - Languages in the app: Swedish, English, Spanish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, German. The card deck is Swedish in flavour, including real Swedish road signs. - Suitable for children. It asks no personal details from anybody of any age beyond a name of your choosing, and there is no chat. - The driver is deliberately not the intended player. The optional reminder is not marked time-sensitive, so iOS Driving Focus suppresses it. - Contact: hej@hallutkik.com
